While Nokia announced a slew of new devices today at the MWC, users back in India will also be rejoiced to know that the company’s flagship phone, the Lumia 920 has seen a price drop and is now available for Rs 31,129 on online retailer HomeShop18.

The Lumia 920 which was announced in January packs a 4.7 inch 720p IPS display along with a dual core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 processor. Running on Windows Phone 8, the phone additionally comes with 1GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage, Gorilla Glass 2 protection and a 2000 mAh battery. However the phone’s biggest strengths include an 8.7MP Pureview camera, polycarbonaate unibody design, super sensitive touch and wireless charging.

Earlier the phone was retailing for Rs 35,500. The new price seems more appropriate given the fact that Samsung’s Galaxy S III which is a direct competitor to the Lumia 920 retails for around Rs 29,000. However, Blackberry might find itself in trouble now, since their Z10 that was launched earlier today for Rs 43,490, might find even less takers now.

Update: It seems that the listing was a mistake on the retailers part and they have since corrected it. The new price for the product is Rs 34,999 is still less than prices at other retailers. Use a coupon on that and you might get further a little discount on that.
