Samsung has announced the NX300 mirrorless camera for India during its ongoing Samsung Forum 2013. The camera which was first seen at CES this year is capable of shooting 3D photos and videos.
The NX300 packs a whole lot of features. It comes with a new 20.3 Megapixel APS-CMOS sensor along with a new hybrid autofocus (AF) system capable of both phase and contrast detection. The camera comes with the new NX 45mm F1.8 2D/3D lens – the first 3D-capable one-lens system which captures still and full HD video in three dimensions. It is capable of recording 1080p videos and has an ISO range between 100-25,600.
The NX300 is equipped with WiFi connectivity that allows the device to share photos with iOS and Android devices via the Smart Camera App. Images can be automatically backed-up or stored in the cloud through AllShare. The 3.3 inch WVGA AMOLED screen supports touch and can be tilted.
Samsung did not divulge the price or the exact date of availability but one can expect the camera to be available on retail shelves pretty soon.
