Their names might be similar to two of the most unused keys on the keyboard, but that doesn’t mean the LG F5 and F7 should share the same fate. The company has officially announced the handsets after a teaser on Facebook a few days back. Both the devices are decently spec’d.

The LG F7 comes with a 4.7-inch 720p True HD IPS display along with a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 2,540 mAh battery. LG has also thrown in a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera along with an 8GB storage with expansion capabilities to that.

The Optimus F5 is a more budget friendly compact smartphone, wielding a 4.3-inch WVGA IPS display, a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB built in storage, microSD slot and a 5-megapixel primary camera paired with 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. All this is powered by a 2,150 mAh battery.

Both the phones come running with Android 4.1.2 and support LTE. The phones should see the light of the day sometime in Q2 this year. LG is yet to disclose the price for either of the device.
