Rumors about a Motorola made Nexus device have been rife for some time now and today we’ve another one at our hands. While yesterday’s rumors pointed towards a device with 5.9 inch display and Snapdragon 801, today’s data from GFXBench points in completely another direction.
According to the new info, Nexus 6, aka Shamu, will sport a 5.2 inch QHD display, translating into a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Under the hood, the phone will pack a yet to be seen Snapdragon 805 beating at 2.7GHz. Thanks to the new processor and Adreno 420 packed along with it , Shamu manages to maintain scores achieved by phones with 1080p displays. The phone also packs 3GB RAM, 32 gigs of internal storage and a 12MP rear camera. If those aren’t flagship killer specs, we doubt any could be.
Given that Nexus line of phones have usually been quite cheap compared to hero phones from Samsung or HTC, we have no doubt in the success of this phone. But who known, this might be the first in line of that Project Silver we’ve so much heard of.
