Features to expect in the best phones under Rs 15,000:

You can expect the best phones under Rs 15,000 to come with 1080p displays and support 1080p/4K video recording. Snapdragon 636 followed by P60 are among the best processors in this budget. We don’t recommend Snapdragon 430 in this budget. You will also find models that come with 4GB RAM, which future proofs the device a bit.

Again, go only for 4G phones. You will also find a few models with 64GB internal storage, which is a plus. In terms of software, get something with at least Android 8.0 that is expected to be updated to Android 9.0. Lastly, don’t blindly run after the megapixel count on the camera sensor. It doesn’t matter beyond a point.

Happy shopping.
